Peer-review process

Acta Missiologiae uses a double-blind peer review system, which means that manuscript authors do not know who the reviewers are and that reviewers do not know the names of the author(s). In order to safeguard this procedure, authors are asked to avoid or blank any information in the text of their submissions which could reveal their identity.

Once the article is being accepted for blind peer review, the author should hear the findings of the peer review process within 30 to 40 days. The response to the blind peer review can be threefold: approval of submission, approval of submission with revision, or rejection of submission. The approval of submission with revision may ask for minor, moderate or major revision.
